About the Event
Our annual STEM Heroes science event for British science week is dedicated to engaging children and young people with science based activites, challenges, hands on workshops and games. Introducing them to the world of science, technology, engineering and maths in a fun and engaging way.
This years theme is: CONNECTION - 'How social media/technology creates connections 'Â
How does social media influence the way you make connections?
Come along and take part in a wide range of technology related workshops, games and challenges.Â
Discover how you can create change, influence your peers, mobilise the community and connect with relevant people using different technologies.

All workshops are suitable for 12 to 16 year oldsÂ
Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
This event will be followed up by 4 young peoples forums where participants will engage in a range of activities, debates and round table discussions on trending topics online.
Children who participant in the full project (to include 3 sessions during the April half term holiday) will be entered into our prize draw to win some awesome tech prizes.
