About the Event

Join us for a day of challenges, competitions and creativity as we explore the many ways we can use paper.

Thursday 26th October 2023

10am till 3pm

at The Javan Coker Foundation Centre

The day will be filled with competitions, challenges and creative project where participants will be using paper as the medium to design, create, and explore scientific challenges.

Who can make the furthest flying paper aeroplane?

How tall can you build a tower using 2 sheets of newspaper?

Can you make sound using paper?

Can you create a game out of paper?

just a few of the challenges you will be competing in.

This workshop is suitable for 9 to 14 year olds.

Children will need to bring their own packed lunches. Light refreshments will be provided.

Club Fee: This activity is Free to attend 

Confirmation of your booking: Once we have recieved your booking we will process it and send you confirmation of the places available for your child/ren. Please note that your child/rens place is not guaranteed if you do not complete a membership form. 

Cancelations: Please note we do not offer refunds on places cancelled without atleast 48 hours writen notice.

Please note: There are no club activities on Wednesday or Friday this week.

Why not become a Club member

You can become a club member by completing a membership form via our website. Club members who pay the annual membership fee of £35 per family of up to 3 siblings will benefit from discounted and or free club outings activities and events thorughout the duration of their membership. Upon completion of your membership you will benefit from free sessions or the discounted rate on all of our club activites, outings, workshops and events for 1 year. Please note some days may include additional costs such as travel or entry fees. We will always research the cheapest option and children who are on free school meals will have priority places and all their costs covered to participate in our club.

You will need to complete a membership form and show proof of address and income (in receipt of benefits or no recourse public funds) to access all of our holiday club activities for free.

You will be charged the non Members fee of £16 per day if your child is not a club member or is not elligable for the free places and you opt out of paying the membership fee.

Please complete a membership form for each child when booking your child/rens places for holiday club as your childen may not be allowed to attend club activities if you have not completed your membership.
