About the Event
Week Three of LPF Kiddies Club's summer programme will run on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday
LPF Kiddies Club's summer club will offer a great opportunity to celebrate African and Caribbean arts, culture and history through a wide range of exiting arts based workshops, trips and activities for local children to engage in throughout the summer. From painting portriats to making dital art, from learning how to do African dancing or African drumming, from making clay pots to visiting some of Londons biggest attracts are programme is packed with a whole load of activites to make learning meaningful and fun for children all through the summer holidays.
Club fee: Free for club members (who have up to date membership) £16 per day for non registered club members
Please complete a membership form for each child before booking your child/rens places for holiday club as your childen may not be allowed to attend club activities if you have not completed registration. If you choose to also pay the annual membership fee of £35 per family, per year the summer programme will be free and you will be charged the discounted rate on all club activities, outings, events and workshops for the duration of your membership. If you opt out of paying the membership fee the normal club fee of £16 per day applies.
Once we have recieved your completed membership form and payment you can book your child/rens places to attend the summer club.
Membership discount: You will recieve an email confirming that your registration is complete once we have recieved your payment and processed your completed membership form. The email will include your members discount code that will enable you to book your free places on the summer club.
If there are any days during the week you have selected that your children can not attend please notify a member of staff on 0742 6868 190 asap. Please note we do not offer refunds on places cancelled without atleast 48 hours writen notice.
Our holiday programme consists of a variety of activities for boys and girls aged 9 to 14 year olds
Please note: Tuesdays are half days (12.30 till 3.30) and there are no club activities on Fridays
Oyster cards: Children over 11 will need an oyster card with £3 on it for Wednesdays when we go out on day trips. We will cover the cost of any additional travel for anything over the £3.
Packed Lunches: We will provide children with light refreshments each day but they will need to bring their own packed lunches to include extra water on each day unless otherwise specified. Please do not send children in with glass bottles, fizzy drinks, sweets, nuts or foods which may contain nuts. Our club is a healthy foods club and we encourage children to make healthy food choices.
Children must be dressed appropriately for the days weather and activities and must adhere to our clubs dresscode and all other policies.

This booking is for Wednesday 18th August 2021 Activites: Day trip to the Horniman museum where children will be learning about masquerades worn by Igbo and Yoruba people, exploring a range of African instruments and creating peices of art inspired by peices in the museum Location: Abbeywood Train Station Drop off: 9.30am / Collection 3.30pm

This booking is for Thursday 19th August 2021 Activities: Children will be working with clay to make african inspired pots, they will be learning about artwork featured on different clay works from across Africa and they will be learning about Fela Kuti and fuji music Location: Abbeywood Community Centre Drop off: 9.30am /Collection 3.30pm
