About the Event

This is a 'pay what you like' ticketed event, tickets are free or you can select how much you would like to pay to attend but you must book a ticket.

We ask that adults and children 5 years and above book a ticket to attend.

This is not a pop in event, we would love for children in particular to attend from 12.30 till 5pm as the day is filled with scheduled workshops throughout for all the family to participate in. All workshops are suitable for 5 year olds and above.

Non club members must be accompanied by a person over 16 years old at all times during the event.

On the day there will be;

  • A screening of the short film the children have made during the Access to Art project this summer
  • Arts and crafts activites where you can make peices of art to take home
  • Parent painting class for parents
  • Mosiac workshop
  • African dance fitness workshop
  • Family quiz where you work together as a family to win some awesome prizes
  • Cultural games
  • African storytelling
  • Award ceremony where children who have participated in the Access to Art project will be awarded and celebrated for all their hard work during the summer
  • African/ Caribbean food and drink available (its advised that you still bring a packed lunch and extra drinks for children as food will be served later in the event)
  • Afrobeats, reggae, hip hop and old school R&B music to dance to

Please do attend the full day and invite your friends and family to come along to.
